Reliable connectivity for the missions that matter.
Defense platforms depend on continuous data exchange: control, video, telemetry, and coordination. NanoPing is software that keeps that real-time data flowing across degraded, changing, and unreliable networks, using the connectivity you already have.

Where resilient real-time communication matters

Unmanned systems
Command, telemetry, payload, and video for platforms in the air, on the ground, and at sea.

Remote operation
Control of systems where responsiveness decides the outcome.

ISR & sensor systems
Continuous delivery of video and sensor data.

Mobile platforms
Communication that keeps working while vehicles are moving.

Distributed systems
Real-time data between geographically separated nodes.
Why this is hard
Mission-critical systems depend on communication that cannot always be guaranteed. The links available in the field can degrade, change, or disappear during an operation, with direct operational consequences.
- Remote operation and command traffic must arrive in time: a late packet is a lost moment of control.
- Video and sensor feeds carry situational awareness, and stale or frozen frames mean decisions made on old information.
- Jamming, congestion, terrain, and movement can take any single link down without warning.
- Telemetry and coordination between forces and systems must keep working while everything is on the move.
Software that adds resilience to existing IP communication
NanoPing is software that runs on your existing devices and improves the reliability of real-time IP communication over unreliable network connections.
- Software-based
- Runs on standard hardware
- Works with your existing network infrastructure
- Designed for real-time systems
NanoPing does not replace your networks. It makes the connectivity you already have more robust.
The protocol does the hard part for you
NanoPing bonds your links, recovers loss in flight, and holds latency to a budget you set, so Defense traffic stays reliable on networks that aren’t.
Redundancy before problems occur
NanoPing uses network coding and advanced error correction to add redundancy up front, so the receiver reconstructs missing data without waiting for retransmissions.
Every link, one connection
Bond cellular, SATCOM, Wi-Fi, IP radio, and Ethernet into one resilient connection, and let traffic ride whichever links are healthy at that moment.
Fewer interruptions
Critical data keeps flowing through temporary network issues. When a link drops mid-operation, there is no session teardown and no gap.
Stable real-time performance
Reduce the impact of loss, delay variation, and changing link conditions, so control, video, and data stay responsive when the network does not behave perfectly.
Software, not hardware
Lightweight software that runs on standard computing platforms, including embedded and edge devices. It works with your existing IP infrastructure and can be evaluated in your current setup.
Encrypted end to end
Traffic is encrypted and authenticated across every hop, so commands and telemetry stay private over networks you do not control.
How it works, in simple terms
Designed for networks where data loss is expected.
Original data
Your application or mission system sends data as usual. NanoPing sits underneath as a resilient communication layer.
Redundancy added
NanoPing adds coded redundancy before problems occur, tuned to the condition of each link.
Unstable networks
Packets travel over whatever links are available, even as they degrade, change, or drop.
Complete data
The receiver reconstructs missing data on arrival, without waiting for retransmissions.
Less waiting. Less disruption. More predictable data delivery.

How it works under the hood
Each NanoPing node runs the RAFT reliable transport, which bonds your links and recovers lost packets in flight with adaptive Forward Error Correction, continuously tuned to match the condition of the underlying network. Traffic is encrypted end to end while a hub control plane keeps the fleet in sync. It installs and comes up in two commands.

Explore what else NanoPing powers

Tele-operation
NanoPing keeps tele-operated machinery responsive over 5G, LTE, and satellite, even when one link drops mid-maneuver. Frame-perfect video, tight control loops, and observability operators can trust.

Remote production
Move production crews out of the truck and into a central control room. NanoPing carries broadcast-quality feeds, intercom, and tally between venue, gallery, and home-based commentators with deterministic latency, so REMI workflows feel local, even when the talent is on another continent.

SD-WAN
Use the NanoPing protocol to power your SD-WAN with any number and type of network links, whether cellular, Wi-Fi, satellite, or wired. Adaptive load balancing increases bandwidth and reliability, drives down latency, and cuts network cost with cost-optimized adaptive technology, all on your own hardware, with no lock-in.
